History:
● Yihong tea originated in Yichang City, Hubei province, As an old saying goes, "Premium mountains and good water produce good tea", Yihong black tea is mainly distributed in the semi-alpine zone near 30° NORTH latitude, which is known as the "golden latitude of tea tree growth in the world". The unique climate and geographical environment advantages in the Three Gorges area make Yihong black tea possess obvious advantages in quality and taste.
● Yichang is one of the ancient tea regions in China, "tea saint" Lu Yu once wrote in the tea monograph "The Book of Tea": "In the south of the mountain, on the gorges", which indicates that Yichang not only produces tea with a long history but also with high quality.
● During the Daoguang Period of the Qing Dynasty, Guangdong tea merchants brought a large number of tea-making technicians from Jiangxi to Yichang to set up a number of refined black tea, and then shipped to Hankou and then transferred to Guangzhou for export. Due to traffic, the black tea exported from Yichang to Hankou was named "Yichang black tea", so Yihong got its name.
