From the perspective of export destination countries and regions, China's tea will be exported to 129 countries and regions in 2021, with most of the target markets being developing countries and regions, and few developed countries and regions, and the overall scale is small Development trend of entrepot trade.

 

In 2021, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Morocco, Vietnam, Ghana, Mauritania, Senegal Ghana, the United States, Uzbekistan and Togo are the top 10 countries and places that import the most tea from China Ward. The top 10 imported $1.69 billion of Chinese tea, accounting for China's total tea exports in the year 73.5%, an increase of 3.7% from 69.8% in 2020.

 

The increase was large in Litalia, the United States and Uzbekistan, while the decrease was large in Togo.

 

 

3.2 China's main export destination countries and regions of tea (the top 15 exports by tea in 2021)

(1).Hong Kong is a trade transit area for Chinese tea.

(2).China trades only green tea (less than 3kg inner package) to many African countries.

(3).Vietnam is the largest exporter of black tea to China.

(4).Chinese oolong tea is popular in Malaysia, Japan and Thailand.

 

4 Sum up

 

(1).The scale of China's tea exports far exceeds the scale of imports.

(2).China is currently the world's largest tea exporter, the target market is mainly developing countries, the product is mainly green tea.

(3).The unit price of tea has gradually increased in recent years.

(4).Chinese special teas are popular in Asian countries.
